This section is dedicated to a flavor of GNU/Linux created and used by thousands of volunteers worldwide called Debian. It should be noted that Debian does support other kernels besides Linux, but I don't use any of them. Not yet anyway.
Here you might find a useful bit or two about configuring or running Debian GNU/Linux on a few platforms. Of course, like all other information on the Internet, this page suffers from bit rot (as of 04/27/2003, ESR's site seems to be redirecting randomly, so here is another link to define bit rot). Given enough time, all of the information on this page will be out of date and useless (damn alpha particles), so keep that in mind.
